Andrea Yomtob, a native to Camarillo, CA, is the founder of ANY Artwork, working professionally as a Fine Artist and children's book author & illustrator in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Her fine art work is available through Canapo Art Gallery in Carmel, CA.

Miss Yomtob is influenced by artists such as Gustav Klimpt, Egon Shiele, Katsushika Hokusai, Amadeo Modigliani, Henri Matisse, and the African Art she collects in her home. She brings together simplicity in compositiion, layering of textures, color, and whimsical subject matter into her work. Her mediums include pen, oil, and acrylic on wood and canvas.

Miss Yomtob's influences continue as apprentice to Omar d'Leon, an internationally acclaimed Nicaraguan Painter and Poet of the 21st Century, since 1992. Omar d'Leon is an American citizen known for his light reflecting colors and surface textures, created by crosshatch scoring, sometimes more than 20 layers deep. Today his pieces may be found in the Museum of Latin American Contemporary Art in Washington, D.C., the Ponce Museum of Art in Puerto Rico, the Chicago Art Institute, the Cuevas Museum in Mexico City, The Ventura County Museum of Art, the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, CA., and others. Miss Yomtob and Omar d'Leon had their first collective art show together this past April, 2011 in Camarillo, CA.

As a Docent at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) since 2007, Miss Yomtob has become a member of their Board of Directors. She's been a long time standing member of the Society of Children's Books Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI). Los Angeles Chapter. Her latest children's book, Birdie Flies Away, was released early this year 2012 by Lectura Books Publishing..
